The Management & Operations Committee (M&O) provides advice and support to the GICC on organizational and programmatic matters concerning policy, management, and operations of geographic information, geographic information systems (GIS) and related technology. The committee is comprised of the Chair of the GICC, the State Budget Officer and the chairs of the Statewide Mapping Advisory Committee, the Technical Advisory Committee, the Local Government Committee, the State Government GIS Users Committee and the Federal Interagency Committee. The Chair of the GICC may appoint other members of the GICC to serve on the M&O.
In May 2011, the GICC established the NC OneMap Governance Committee. The purpose of the committee is to provide advice and support to the Council on governing and overseeing NC OneMap-related matters. The Governance Committee membership is the same as the Management and Operations Committee.
